This site is a journal of my travels and other adventures while I shift from doing postdoctoral research on tree frog ecology in Darwin, Australia, to research on digestive physiology of lizards and bats in Sede Boqer, Israel. Wow, thats a rare picture, you can really see that the ibex is curious.
yeah, she was watching me pretty closely. The ibex around Sede Boqer are pretty used to people, so they let you get pretty close, but they still bolt if they see something they don't like. This one seemed to realize that there was no way I could get up the cliff to reach her, so was content to look.
